We hope you're as excited about it as we are.

In fact, we are getting ready to leave tomorrow for Lake Las Vegas to spend 2-1/2 days

planning out what 2023 is going to look like, and after evaluating what we accomplished in 2022.

This will be our sixth year attending the Create Your Future™ hosted by the Real Estate Guys™.

It's hard to explain to someone who has not been to this event how powerful and impactful it is.

After attending it for the first time, we realized at the end of that year, we were amazed that we had accomplished more than 3/4 of the things that we had set out to do that year. The rewards of attending this  event became very clear. 

Making a New Year's resolution is an admirable attempt to set goals and create positive change in your life, but unfortunately, only 9% see their resolutions come to fruition. One of the main reasons why resolutions don’t work is that people tend to make unrealistic goals for themselves. If you start with an unrealistic goal, chances are you won’t make it and will become discouraged. Additionally, resolutions are not usually specific or measurable, making them hard to track progress against.

Having concrete goals that can be achieved in increments is essential for success. It’s also important to focus on a few manageable goals rather than trying to tackle too much at once. Finally, setting realistic goals and  expectations will not only help you feel accomplished as you reach small milestones but also make it easier to  maintain your motivation to achieve them over the long term.

Most important of all, you have to dig deep into your soul to ask yourself what it is you want to achieve in your life and what goals you need to set to accomplish them.

The event we're about to attend is nothing like most goal-setting events, which hover around a concept known as setting SMART goals which stand for:

S: Specific Simple

M: Measurable Meaningful

A: Attainable, Appropriate, Achievable

R: Relevant, Results-oriented, Realistic

T: Timely, Time-oriented, Time-bound, Tangible
